1. Sight Words Learning Game - this app would be a great tool to use during word work time. I like that it is separated by grade level so everyone student would be able to use it.
2. Second Grade Learning Games - This app does cost $1.99 but it would be totally worth it. It has 5 games for math and 5 games for language and all of the games are tied back to topics that need to be covered in second grade.
3. Raz-Kids - a free app that has a ton of leveled readers.
4. Cool Math Games Fan App - I have used this website in my classroom and I am extremely happy they have an app. This site has a ton of fun math games that students love to play. There are games for pretty much every math topic.
5. Hooked on Phonics - another great reading app.
6. Lets Spell: Learn to Spell - a great spelling app for grades K-2.
7. Math Run - a math game with a video game tied to it. Kids love these types of games.
